Company Pulls Supplement Due to Undeclared ED Drug

The manufacturer of Vialipro, a dietary supplement marketed as a sexual enhancement, voluntarily recalled the product after FDA analysis revealed the capsule contained undeclared amounts of sulfoaildenafil, an analogue of the erectile dysfunction drug sildenafil (Viagra).

The supplement may cause an unsafe drop in blood pressure in patients taking nitrates.

Good Health, the supplement's manufacturer, noted in a prepared statement that one of the raw ingredients in the drug was tainted with the Viagra analogue.

Customers who have purchased the supplement should stop taking it immediately and return the product to Good Health, the company said in the statement.

The product was sold in 10-count packages. Affected lots include those with all expiration dates and lot numbers 80409, 80661, 81146, 90132, 90265, 90587, 90826, 91065, 00197, and 00347.

Good Health is located in Canutillo, Texas.
